Swiss Alps Profile!

I'm studying business and computer science at the University of Texas at Austin, graduating in May 2025. My journey into the world of coding began in high school, sparking a passion that has since seen me building exciting projects. Most of my projects are centered around my proficiency in Python and various libraries, however, I am constantly expanding my technical repertoire, just as I had to do to create this website!

By day (and sometimes by night), I'm a Cloud Engineering Intern at Fidelity, working with various AWS products. My work doesn't stop at cloud technologies; I'm also versed in artificial intelligence and data analytics, pushing the boundaries of what's possible and aiming to create effecient, impactful solutions.

When I'm not coding, I'm all about movement and exploration. I love hiking, climbing, shooting hoops, and virtually anything active. I also love to travel and am constantly seeking to improve my Spanish! To chill, I lose myself in a good book or take some time for meditation.

Cloud-Based Automated Website Monitoring System (In-Progress)

Alerts and Analytics: Visualized Web Watchdog

The Automated Website Monitoring System is cloud-based solution designed to ensure the continuous operational integrity of web services. Utilizing AWS Lambda, this system periodically pings a designated website, logging response times and availability data in a DynamoDB table. Integrated with Amazon CloudWatch for seamless scheduling and monitoring, the system also employs Amazon SNS for instant alerting, notifying stakeholders via email when the website does not respond as expected.

AI Recipe Finder

Put in ingredients, get out recipes

Inspired by the challenge of deciding what to cook with on-hand ingredients, I developed a program that suggests recipes based on what users have available. It uses a multi-step process to normalize ingredient data including lemmatization with NLTK and matches recipes by comparing TFIDF-scored vectors and cosine similarities of recipe ingredients against that of the user ingredients. The program will then provide a set number of results that match the users inputs. A user-friendly UI makes it easy for anyone to navigate and discover new meal possibilities.
